Yeah. I do small daily water changes(5 gallons for now, 10 once they start getting bigger, cuts down on needing to do the huge water changes which take forever and are iffy at my apartment since our water heater goes out a LOT and when it does all you can get is water that would be warmer out of the fridge), plus the guppies are all already about a year old or so, so by the time the goldfish get to be big waste makers the guppies should all be dead of old age. Which is why I mentioned that it'll just be for the goldfish and barbs and possibly the little grey guy. All of the guppies are older and male, so I won't need to worry about it. The guppies were in my planted tank, but I found a male plakat betta and was struck with a desire for him(he's handsome and I've wanted a plakat FOREVER) and since I didn't have any spare tanks put him in the community tank. I figure he'd likely be good with the tetras, but didn't want to risk the guppies being torn to shreds by the betta. Who so far hasn't cared about the tetras(crosses fingers) They're just the older guppies from when I had the 60 gallon as my planted tank and I'd decided a long time ago to just keep my tetras and not get any more guppies
