The aerial roots are normal. I'd consider it a sign of good health. I'm unfamiliar with the Florin products. It seems like you'd need N-P-K and micros along with CO2 with your lighting (if the bulbs are 54 watts each? that'd be 2 watts per gallon) . However, since you have very few plants and your fish are heavy waste producers, maybe you don't. And maybe the Florin stuff has everything you need.

It all looks healthy from what I can see.
