It doesn’t matter when you test. The amount of nutrients you add per dose is very low compared to the amounts you will find from your test. For example: after time you will find that NO3 is 12 ppm. Since you only add 1 ppm of NO3 per dose what you would find after dosing is 13 ppm a difference your test kit probably cannot detect anyway.

What ever you chose (i.e. before or after dosing) stick with it so you can get a good comparison over time.
