it is my experience that pontederifolia is very slow to establish and recover from transplanting, but once it does it has good growth. next time i mess with mine i will definately use some organic matter in the mix.

do you have any pictures of your undulata? i have some that i think is undulata, but i'm not sure. it is one of my hardiest crypts and grows as fast as wendtii, but doesn't produce as many offsets.

i fertilize my crypts in an irregular, haphazard way, always erring on the side of dilute solutions. they all seem to do fine with this regime.
