I'm thinking crazy. Whomever reported that must have had ephippial eggs or live specimens from plants or something. Everything in that soda bottle is deader than a can of corned beef! Well, I'll age it and obtain a starter culture on aquabid.

Instead, I filled up a 2-liter soda bottle and dropped in various cubes of Daphnia containing frozen fish food I had on hand. I have my magnifying glass ready! Another crazy idea? |
