Looks really nice. You can cut the rhizomes into pieces and they will still grow but I would just nick them 1/3 way through and let them sprout first. Then you can cut them apart and plant them all over. That way the leaves on the end are still supplying nutrients to the rhizomes and the process will happen faster than if all the nutrient have to be supplied from teh rhizome because you have cut it apart and now there isn't any leaf support.
