Just order fluval stratum for my 100G myself (very cheap deal, if you live in Europe and looking for fluval -> PM). Will be using it without mixing, but being a poor student before, I did mixed ADA Amazonia with regular gravel. Worked perfect and can't see why you can't mix fluval with gravel...
