I believe that APC has or had a database issue yesterday 2005-01-28. Two posts I made that showed up after posting were not there later (and neither was controversial or subject to deletion by moderators ).

I made an addition to this thread, for instance, and it is gone:

Forget this post, somewhere else Gnatster has advised it was due to another server switch. Just that the server admin doing the job presumably failed to lock the posting ability before doing so. Hopefully, next time he will remember or forewarn. It's a mixed blessing being kept in the dark about technology issues.

I was told by the host after this transfer had started. I was able to post an announcement that stood for about 30 minutes before the changes took place. I've placed an announcement on this and have asked our host to give us more warning in the future.

Looks like the site reverted back to a past iteration since a lot of the quick links are gone again. Any idea when features will start being restored?
