One of our sponsors, SEACHEM, has generously offered to put together a prize for the TOTY contest. This will be awarded to the Members' Pick winner, independantly of the total scores.
Keep those tanks growing!

Question on above rule. If you submit a picture of your tank to one contest, can you submit a different picture of the same tank to this one, or does this mean that if you submit your tank to a contest you can't submit it to this one? Did that make sense or did I make it more confusing!! |

So if you have submitted a tank to another contest, change the layout for re-entry. If this is wrong, one of the other mods please correct me.
thanks for the interest dewalltheway! We hope to see many entries. |

Thank you for the interpretation. I appreciate it. You can bet I will be submitting some. |

Yes, there are plenty of good layouts there that would be great to have in the contest, but we would like this contest to specifically be for our membership, not necessarily for a bunch of people who don't come to the site and are only interested in the prizes. We set a long submission time (6 months) so that members here can start a tank now in the hopes of getting more members here submitting layouts, with ample time to adjust it.
Honestly, would you want to see 'ADA lite' here again? The AGA does that, and I've heard people complaining about that in the past..... |

iTrader Positive Rating: 100% Plant Points: 293175 | Re: 2010 Tank of the Year Contest Maybe it will give more people a chance. The "real masters" at this can handle more than one tank at a time. The novices can't and they might not feel like they could enter those "international" contests. I think the knife cuts both ways. |
