Default going to San Francisco...

Well, I might be going to San Francisco next month. Is there a list of good fish stores there? I know aquaforest is one of them, but I was wondering if there are others.

Isn't there like a plant club there too?

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

The top three Bay area LFSs for plants:

Albany Aquarium
818 San Pablo Avenue
Albany, CA 94706
(510) 525-1166

Aqua Forest
1718 Filmore St
San Francisco, CA 94115
415-929-8883

Ocean Aquarium
120 Cedar Street
San Francisco, CA 94109
(415) 771-3206

Albany is actually across the bay from San Francisco, about a 20 minute (non-traffic) drive across the Bay Bridge and a few miles north on I80.

Thanks for the quick reply!

I just found out that San Francisco has a plant club. Here's there link: SFBAAPS

I'm trying to get into their forums to get some more info on their local plant stuff.

Jeff,
Sorry, but the club is only open to Bay Area residents. The club's forum is more for local group conversations and not open to the public.

But there are a number of Bay Area residents (and SFBAAPS members) here on APC to answer your questions.

Bill's got the shops listed in the order I would visit them. Albany you can't leave without finding something that you want to buy. Aquaforest has all the ADA stuff.
