I'm a member of the DFW plant club here in Texas and will be in the San Francisco area next week (Wednesday-Monday) for the Maker Faire. As best I can determine, all the regular club meetings are at the beginning of the month so I won't be there for any of those. But I wondered if there were any plant people that wanted to meet up for dinner or to show off their tanks?

Also, aside from Aqua Forest Aquarium, are there any other LFS we should seek out? Last year I went to some I found on Google, though none were very impressive. Somehow I missed Aqua Forest Aquarium (though I got to go on a business trip late last year) so perhaps I missed some of the other good stores.

You have to check out albany aquarium.

This was the place to go before aquaforst was around. They usually carry hard to find plants and is just a fun store. Another one that is near aquaforest that is fun is ocean aquarium,

But if you get the chance, try albany, you'll enjoy it.
