Is the contest still on? What is the dead line? Can the pictures be digital? If so how big? Would it be better to send entries in on a CD? Do plant lay out have to have common name as well as scientific names of plants. Being new at this I might not get the scientific name right.

As far as I know the contest deadline has been changed to May 1st, 2003.

Digital entries are preferred.

Most common formats will be accepted but will be changed to .jpg for display on the internet.

All images will be edited by me to a standard size and resolution to ease internet use.

We've got an email account set up specifically for contest use:

[email protected]

You may also send entries in on a 3.5" floppy disc or CD. PM me for the post mail address as it will be changing the first of April.

Scientific names in your layout are preferred. The AGA showcases are an excellent resource for this. If you're not sure one of us here will be able to figure it out if need be.

Thanks!
Phil Edwards

Phil,
How about reposting the AB contest rules here...or a link to the old post?

I thought May 1st was the extended deadline that we agreed on? Is it the 31st? Makes no difference to me one way or the other.

Was it the 1st? My bad. I kept thinking it
was the 31st.

Phew...I thought I was really messed up there for a bit. May 31 is really bad for me....I'm getting married that morning. The 1st is much better.

Oh, I have. In this one case though, I've got to let her have the spotlight.
