Got wood soaking MTS made, sump built and plants on there way hopefully next week.
Not sure of which plants should be grouped together or even some I am not sure should be mid or background. For example the Cryptocoryne Crispatula should I keep together or spread out?

Here is a list.

1 x Echinodorus Osiris 'Melon' MED
1 x Echinodorus "Red Flame" MD
6 x Cryptocoryne Pontederiifolia

3 x Sagittaria Subulata (Dwarf) (Potted)
3 x Hygrophila Corymbosa 'Kompakt' (Potted)
7 x Lilaeopsis Mauritiana POT
1 x Gymnocoronis Spilanthoides
1 x Echinodorus 'Tanzende Feuerfeder' Pot LG
6 x Vallisneria Americana var. Biwanesis (contortion val)
6 x Vallisneria Asiatica Var. Biwaensis (Corkscrew Val)
1 x Nymphea Lotus Red (Red Tiger Lotus)
1 x Cryptocoryne Parva Pot
1 x Anubias Congensis
1 x Anubias Barteri Var. Nana Pot

Most of your plants should be planted about 1" apart to allow room for growth and spreading. You can plant closer or in tight groupings according to your visual preference. (I like to plant crypts clsoe together for a clump-feel without having to wait for them to fill in. )

Stem plants with thin stems (like Rotala or Ludwigia) can be planted in 3-5 stems per group with the groups about 1" apart for a nice bush. Other stems that are thicker can be planted as a single stem, spaced 1" apart or so in any given bush.

Here is a close-up of one of the pieces of wood I am going to use. It has a large hole in the bottom. Not sure of what plant to put in it or leave it open. Sword maybe?

Put the big piece in the middle to the left slightly
Smaller piece place it to the right side.

The smaller piece doesn't match the larger piece though, so you might want to ditch it.

What is that a 90G? Good plant list, did you concieve that or buy a plant pack? I would throw both pieces of wood in there and see if you can make it workm, remember, most of it will be concealed by the plants. Good start, keep us posted
