| Boiled and boiled and the driftwood still floats... I found a piece of driftwood on a trip I made to a state park here in Florida... it was under an Australian Pine, so I assumed that is what it is.
I have boiled it for some hours now... 10-15 hrs and got it to sink... then I took it out of the tank and sat it on the sun... I heard that getting it wet and then letting the sun dry it was good.... now after being dried by the sun it floats again....
I notice the driftwood is bubbling, as if it was "sucking" water... is this a sign that I should not be using this piece of wood on my tank?
Here is a pic of the driftwood when sinking: https://www.aquaticplantcentral.com/f...php?pic_id=265 |
