CAPE October 19th meeting - House of Fins SPLASH Event! - Connecticut Aquatic Plant Enthusiasts

Hey CAPE!
For our October meeting we'll be visiting this event at House of Fins in Greenwich (Saturday the 19th). For those who'd like to carpool, meet me at my place (PM me or Amanda for address) at 1:30pm (my car can seat 3 in addition to myself); everyone else, meet us outside HoF at 2:30pm. They have a number of marine speakers who you're welcome to sit and listen to, but we're also going to be there drooling at their showroom and it's beautiful aquascapes. They do some lovely Amano-style and Iwagumi work.

There's also a nice little deli across the street that makes tasty sandwiches if y'all are hungry. At around 4pm, we can take a side trip to Greenwich Aquaria in Riverside, if the group wants to. They close at 5:00pm, HoF closes at 7pm, so we can go back and catch the last two hours of presentations as well.

It was good meeting both of you as well. Unfortunately, I didn't take any pictures because all I have at the moment is my cell phone which takes garbage pictures. I can try to take some pictures of the African Butterfly fish I got a little later on though. I'm hoping to get a decent camera sometime soon so hopefully I'll be able to start taking some good pictures.
