Default Group Amano Shrimp buy Anybody?

I need to buy 75-100 amanos for the new tank. That fish Place will do some serious negotiating in the 200 range. Anyone interested in putting together a group buy locally? I don't want to take on the responsibility of shipping so this is pick up only.

I'm also going to purchase 30-50 otos so there may be potential there too.

Here's the deal. I'm ordering 100. That's all it takes to get us into the dollar range. You can order in any increments after that and still get them for a dollar.

I'm also ordering 50 otos at 1.00 each.

If I want them this week I have to put the order in by 2:00 today in which case they will be ready to pick up tomorrow.

I'm thinking of waiting until next Monday after my first water change.

The order is in for this week. I don't think it will be a problem to get more next week though if there is enough interest.

Only 60 amanos came in today.

I have located a cheaper source for future group purchases. .85 cents each for 100. However, I have to complete this order with this lfs.

Heh, I'll buy in next time. I can't check the forums every day so send me an email but I'm in for 50 or so next time you order, especially if the LFS eats the costs of the DOAs.

LOL.

Jeff, it looks like the next order will be made next Monday for next Tuesday. I'm pretty sure she won't make me eat the cost of DOA's. I've done business with them beofre on special orders and they have been great.

We do have to work out some kind of arrangement for pickup that doesn't leave me largely responsible for problems that may ocurr in delays if I have to hold onto them for any length of time.

Any suggestions?
