| | Maybe I should go with the tanks
At 4AM I woke up to a gurgling sound. My homemade CO2 tank was working too well, so after I turned off my light, I pulled the tubing out of the water. I went to see what was wrong, and to my horror, the Co2 tank was pumping the liquid through the tubing. A few drops were coming out with each bubble. The water was cloudy, and a few of my fish were acting up, most of them were normal. 50% water change later and an airstone, and everyone has seemed to be okay.
First time that's ever happened, I tried a new recipe, and I lack a second bottle to catch any overflow. I'm starting to think I should bypass all this and just get a tank, constant flow, the ability to turn it off at night, and no sugary alcohol leaking into the tank at night all sound good.
