I just got mine from mail today and when I shake it just to know if it is broken there is a sound like a broken glass or expired bulb and when I put it in the fixture to try it, the lamp lit and its bright... Like there is nothing wrong, has anyone experience this I want to know if all PC bulbs are like this before I call the mail order co. which I order the bulb from.

Well, if it lights, Bebop, it's not broken. I don't generally shake my pc bulbs before I install them, so I can't tell you if it's a normal sound or not.

from my experiences, all PC bulbs sound like that if you move them. To me it sounds more like a little marble or something shaking around in there. I have been assured by my LFS that it is normal.

But I do agree with Vicki....I don't go around shaking my bulbs!

If the bulb is bright and slightly pink, you're set to go.
