Default Solenoid?

If my solenoid becomes faulty, can i disconnect it and just connect the needle valve to the regulator for 24/7 operation, and what is the best way to tight seal the connection?, thanks

The type of regulator you have would be of some help in trying to answer your post but you should be able to remove the solenoid and screw the needle valve in it's place. Teflon tape may work to seal the threads but I think that will depend on whether your specific regulator has tapered fittings or not.
