Default Insta Max Mix CO2 Reactor Product Warning

Wanted to let the community know about this piece of garbage and advise anyone to avoid at all costs. Just invested in a CO2 setup and bought this reactor. The bottom which holds the water in the reactor screws on and off and leaks. It's cheap plastic, the o-ring is a hard rubber and undersized. Highly doubtful this is a one-off occasion. Reviews from multiple sites confirm. Additionally, the 3/4" attachment sleeves for the in and out flow will also leak. Not a situation you want to be in after you've already cut your filter line. I see 100% chance of this reactor leaking and a 137% chance of leaking if you're running a fluval filter with the ribbed hose.

You can put it in the tank, which I did for a while before getting better equipment. I then trashed it!
