| | Filter dilemma for 9g (27L) tank
I am facing real dilemma on how to filtrate my 9g planted tank (60cmX22cmX20cm - sorry not very familiar with imperial measurements).
Right now I am using a hang on filter (resun) which does a really does an average job of providing a lot of turbulence on one end of the tank and not really doing much on the other end of the tank. (my tank is quite long for a 9g, about 3/4ft)
Anyone used an Eheim liberty 2041 hang on filter before? Can the water flow in thew Eheims be turned down in the long run? might just switch to these highly rated eheims. (Which probably wouldn't fix my problem)
What I really want is a canister filter (probably the fluval 105 or the eheim classics), which will give beneficial water flow by dispersing water at one end and sucking in at the other end. But these canister filters are way too powerful for my small tank.
What should I do?
(don't really want a bigger tank)
Any comments would be awesome
