Default 8000K All Glass Bulb

Anyone used the 8000K All Glass 55/65W bulb? I'm curious to see how it looks, apparently 8000K is ideal for planted tanks (according to ADA, who also sells 8000K bulbs, but only 36W and only square pin base). Any feedback on this bulb is appreciated, I'm getting sick of my ultra-green 6700K Coralife's.

Default 8800 k

I use the 8800 K. Never heard of 8000k. Mine are 65 Watt and square pin only. They are awesome but hard to get. I use to use 6700 K and I don't like the color. As soon as I switched to the 8800K my plants began pearling like crazy after about an hour. I have pressurized Co2 about 30 ppm but I could never get my plants to pearl. With the 8800K Compact Flourescents it is not a problem. The color is closer to white but not as white as 10000 K.
