Default fluval 304 canister in a 20 gallon

would this be way overkill? i'm looking to get one on ebay hopefully for fairly cheap, i wasn't planning on it but it cought my eye and it's definitely a manageable price. i'm wondering if it could be bad that it's for so much bigger tanks, or would that just be really good?

orrr does anyone have any experience with the tom rapid mini canister? i'm looking at that and i'm slightly tempted...
