Default am reactor 1000

I'm thinking about buying the reactor 1000, but it says that the input and output connections are 1/2 inch. My cannister is a fluval 404 and it has 5/8 inch id hose. How can I hook it up? Thanks,
John

Intersting, this was a recent topic except it was with an Eheim.

5/8" is not much larger then the 1/2" the AB 1000 uses, hose clamps will hold it on quite well. I speak from experience, I use 3/4" line on mine with nary a drip in sight.

I also use a very tight hose clamp too. But if you wanted, Home depot has adaptors for 5/8 => 1/2 & 1/2 hose.

Or you can them online @ www.marinedepot.com.
