Default Can ozone be used instead of CO2?

Here's what I'm thinking... I've read that an ozone system requires use of activated carbon to remove ozone from the water before returning it to the tank. This must create CO2 correct? (maybe CO?) So what about overdriving the ozone system to the point that enough CO2 is created to negate the need for any other CO2 injection? Seems like killing two birds with one stone.

The process may produce a little CO2, but, since only small amounts of ozone (O3) are produced, only small amounts of CO2 will be produced. This would be a very expensive way of making CO2, and I doubt that it would make enough to make much difference in growth.
