Default Bubble counter Q

I've got my CO2 system up and running again but I don't know how many bubbles per miniute I should be running.

What info do you guys need to answer the question properly?

Hi J-P,

It would help to know the gallons (U.S.); I have a 30 and a 45 gallon. I like to so this when I will be able to monitor the aquarium; I typically like to start at about 1 bubble per second. I watch the fish for any signs of distress like rapid gill movement, hanging near the surface, or low activity compared to no CO2. If no problems after 24 hours I increase 10% and watch again. Ideally you would use a drop checker with a 4.0 dKH indicator solution to monitor the CO2 level. When I first started I did the KH/PH method using this calculator.

thanks for the reply!

Here are the tanks stats:
500 US Gallons, moderately planted (but for our purposes consider it a 210 gal)
GH =8
KH= 7
PH = 7.8~7.9
Phosphate =1.5 ~2.0

Using the calc link you provided it said that my CO2 levels were in the "low" range
