can any one tell me what ph I should br getting from a new ro system as it is still high

Good R/O water is almost too pure to measure accurately w/ a hobby grade pH kit. It will bounce around due to no buffers. Similar to the reason it is not recommended to use pure R/O in your fish tanks, but to add back some controlled minerals: reconstituting it.

The best tool to track your R/O water is a TDS meter (total dissolved solids.)
