Default CO2 for multiple tanks?

So, I'm still new to CO2 systems. I purchased this semi-automatic CO2 system from Dr. Foster and Smith (http://www.drsfostersmith.com/produc...fm?pcatid=9935). Am I able to use a single CO2 system for multiple tanks, my 20g and 55 g? If so, how do I do so?

Default Re: CO2 for multiple tanks?

You need a manifold that has two needle valves. Below is a picture of one that you can purchase from GLA. You can mount it 2 different ways and make it work:
  • One way is to remove the stock needle valve and attach this manifold assembly with two needle valves.
  • The other way is to put a tubing connector on the intake of the manifold. Then connect a piece of tubing from the stock needle valve to the tubing fitting that you installed on the intake of the manifold. You open the stock needle valve wide open and do the turning with the manifold's needle valves.
