Default Which Eheim Canister?

I'm thinking about adding a second filter to my 85G planted discus tank. I'm currently running a Fluval 404, which does a decent job. I feel better with two filters in the tank though, in case something happens to the Fluval and I don't notice it right away. The tank is 5' long and I would also like to imrpove water circulation.

I want to add an Eheim canister and use it to power an in-line CO2 reactor. I'm thinking about the Pro II 2026 -- is the right choice or am I better off spending a little more money on the 2028? Or something else? The 2028 (with the Fluval) is probably overkill, but I would like to get a few opinions.
