Default Python No Spill Clean and Fill Faucet Screw on Size?

Hey everyone!
I want to stop using buckets to do my water changes. So, I wanted to buy a Python Water Changer pr a product similar to it.
However, why spend about $40 on something I can make myself?
I went on amazon to find just the valve thatbyou screw on to the faucet (it is about $9). I am going to hook up a garden hose to it. I jave a faucet with a "male" part (I can screw something ON to it). The faucet opening where the water comes out is about 1 inch. Does anyone know what the diameter of Python No Spill clean and fill valve that attaches to the faucet is?
I just need the diameter measurement of the part that attaches to the sink in inches please.
THANKS!

If nobody else responds in the meantime, I'll try to measure tomorrow.

In the us the standard size is 15/16 - 27 for male and 55/64 -27 for female. That said there are about 25 possible sizes, but unless you have something really old, odd ball or made in another part of the world. You should be fine.

Our house was made in 1964 and we never renovated that room where the old sink with threading was so it is propbably about 50 years old will the PYTHON Water Changer valve still screw on?
