Default Dosing iron sulphate

Can I dose iron sulphate to new water after water change? I read that only chelated iron is bio available to plants. But since I also dose API Water Conditioner in WC which contains a chelating agent EDTA, will it chelate iron and make it bio available?

MSDS for API Water Concitioner:

I know chelated iron is available in the market, but inorganic iron is a lot cheaper.
