I recently bought a few dozen wild caught Cardinal Tetras and noticed a couple of stowaways when I put them into my quarantine tank. I think I was able to identify the one on the left as a Crystal Tetra but the one on the right does not have a black spot on the tail fin and it has a more elongated body. They are both nice surprises but curiosity has got the best of me.

Perhaps it's a differentiation between male and female? If you get it positively ID'd i'd love to know what it is...
