Default Where are my Plecos?

This picture is an example of how thick my plants are throughout my 40G tank. I can't see the bottom along most of the back half. It is completely hidden by plants and rocks. I put two baby bristlenose plecos in this tank a couple weeks ago. This is my question: Where are they? I haven't seen them since. Are they dead? Are they hiding? Is it common for small plecos to be so elusive? Just wondering. I have a couple Kuhli Loaches in there too. I know they like to stay hidden, but I still see them every once in a while. Thank you.

They like to hide. That's what plecos do, not very exciting.

I agree with Mistergreen, plecos like cover and it looks like you've provided them with that. They will probably be more visible when the lights are off at night if you take a peek in the late evenings.

Baby bristlenoses hide most of the time. Try putting a slice of blanched zucchini at the front of the tank; that might tempt them out but only if the cichlids are elsewhere.

If they are back in there and happy, that's OK with me. I don't have to see them. I just hope they are doing fine.
