Default Plant Surplus

It would be so nice to figure out an outlet for my excess plants. I have java ferns, amazon swords and Cryptocoryne blasii in extreme quantities. An example; I purchased 3 of these crypts less than 2 years ago and now have over 60! Each month I toss about 3 gallons of perfectly healthy plant material in the compost. And I have also planted my quarantine tanks, 3 20s and a 29, from my overflow. I'm not interested in devoting my time to orders, shipping, packaging, billing, etc. but it seems sad to just compost them. I'd give them to people if they wanted to just come and pick them up. No big deal either way but kind of a bummer. I have the same problem with my houseplants. Every spring I toss bushels of trimmings which could easily be starts. When I first started with aquatic plants I never thought I would have this problem!

Is there a nearby aquarium club? Or, local pet shops might give you "store credit" for them.

You may want to reconsider your thoughts on selling?
Could post a sale once per month, get one buyer and then label it as sold.

I felt the same way at one time.
Was worried about shipping, plants surviving and such?
Turned out to be really easy in a very short time.
Keeps some mad money in one's PayPal account too!

I would purchase crypts and some fern if you sold them!
