I'm searching for a yellow or golden foliaged aquatic plant. Something short. Any ideas?

Golden Lloydiella and Nesaea pedicellata 'Golden' come immediately to mind.

I like the color of the Nesaea pedicellata 'Golden', but it doesn't look like it grows short. How tall do they both get? It's only a 10-gal, and I'm trying to use smaller plants to let it look bigger inside than it is.

Mine rarely exceed 8-10 inches. I think they'd look great in a 10 gallon but hear me out: They're rather and require intense light. It can be,- challenging, in other words. The Lloydiella is weed and is very little trouble. Also great for the mid to background of a 10 gallon.

If you can find the golden Creeping Jenny (Lysimachia nummularia) at a garden center nearby, it’s worth a try. I have the normal green form growing near my yard, and it does very well in my high pH, hard water, moderate light. It can be trimmed low, or grow as a stem plant.
