Default Stand Size for CO2 Tank

I am going to be building a stand for a 45 gallon tank. I want to have the option to put in a CO2 system. How tall should the space below the tank be to accomodate a gas cylinder? I am leaning toward a 10# size tank.

Thanks,
Alan

If you click on each tank, the height information should be there. Hope this help. Good Luck

I have a 5# with regulator and needle valve attached, around 21" high. My last 5# tank was a little taller, the whole assembly was about 24". I know that's not much help for a 10# though

If you add about 2" above the height's given for the different sizes on the site that TNguyen links you to you should be able to accommodate most tanks with regulators attached.
All my regulators only reach about 1" above the on/off knob on top of the tanks.

I have two different 10lb cylinders with two different regulators on them, one's 22 inches the other about 23 1/2 inches.

Thank you all for your help. Now I am off to the basement to begin sawing wood (not for a nap, rather with a saw).
