Hi Steve,

Is this what you are looking for?
http://images.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http://www.aquahobby.com/garden/img/Ceratopteris_cornuta_2.jpg&imgrefurl=http://www.aquahobby.com/garden/e_Ceratopteris_cornuta.php&usg=__AxmPrglGl2rLNpHQj I318WaZKns=&h=360&w=430&sz=18&hl=en&start=1&tbnid= 7MK8djFe5huG8M:&tbnh=105&tbnw=126&prev=/images%3Fq%3DCeratopteris%2Bbroadleaf%2Bwatersprit e%26gbv%3D2%26hl%3Den%26client%3Dfirefox-a%26rls%3Dorg.mozilla:en-USfficial%26sa%3DG
It is the Broadleaf Watersprite I remember when growing up many years ago in St. Louis. It is still around, although I find a lot more of the narrow leaf variety of Ceratopteris than the broadleaf. Some people say they are the same and that the leaf changes under different conditions. I don't know if that is true. I grow some for nostalgic reasons in my tanks. I got it from another GSAS member. Is this the one you are looking for Steve?

Hi Roy,

Thanks for checking it out but it doesnt look like the one I remember, or maybe I misremember.

If you have a little to spare I will happily reimburse you for the shipping and I will grow it and see, my first tank was over 40 years ago and it grew like there was no tomorrow, made perfect shade for a Crypt that I had going rampant in there. From my research I think it is the bronze variant of Wendtii, although I remember the underneath of the leaves being a very dark red as opposed to a bronze.

Anyway thanks again for checking this out.

Steve, of Steve and Vicki fame

That one maybe? If it is, I have a LOT of extra right now(was going to give it away in the for sale forum after I let it sit in the substrate for a bit, since I took it out to suck out some waste from another tank and left it floating long enough to convert to the floating form. Oops) I can get a picture and if you want it send you some if you'd like
