Hello Aaron, i'm not sure what plant you're talking about, is it Alternanthera reineckii mini? It's the red one, in the front left side.

Yup, that's exactly the one that's giving me googly eyes. I can never resist eyelids in red batting their lashes at me. How do you keep it so red?

Wait a minute... front left? The front left doesn't look red to me. looking for the pic, I'll repost it.

I'm talking about the red one in the front left of this pic. I think it is Alternathera, since I've been looking for it online, but I could be wrong.

Yes Aaron, i was referring to the same pic you did. And yes, we are talking about Alternanthera mini.
Because i also have it in low tech tanks, with no CO2 or ferts, and grows lacking that lush red color, i think i've found a solution : needs a good dose of Iron, CO2 of course and enough lighting to grow it that compact. Of course, don't neglect the other ferts (example, for macro elements, i'm using PPS-Pro).

Woot! I'm glad I still remember something. I kept thinking iron. I was sure I'd read that before. But I have been spending my time researching which plants to get, and hadn't gotten to that yet. So I didn't want to mention it in case I made a fool of myself. I usually do, at least once daily, but I tried to save myself on this one. =b

And awesome! Thank you very much.
