Red-nosed shrimp are wonderful algae eaters and I adore them, so be careful stocking so he does not wind up as lunch, lol! PG can give you pointers on keeping him happy and healthy.

If the tank is on the cool side, how about going with a small school of white clouds? Those plus your snail and it would be a very interesting little tank.

I really like this round-cornered tank, as it creates such a smooth line and permits an uninterrupted view of the scape. Very nice choice.

My plant pal said if she ever catches her other red-nosed shrimp, I can have it for this tank. There is something endearing about the slightly zany look in this shrimp's eyes [ ], my friend's amano and cherry shrimp all look quite serious!

Hereby naming it Oz The Shrimp.

Yay! I have a second red-nosed shrimp! We caught it yesterday and transferred it to my 4 gal.

Starting to feel like a tank geek!
