You and I have opposite tastes on dry start... I have two setups that are still in dry start, one being 217 days into the dry start... Yes, I'm a little weird haha. Trying to get one specific plant to carpet and it's slow to do so.

I have Rotala Mini Butterfly, but it's sooooo small as it's emersed. I can't wait till my tank is flooded and it looks like that!

ADA doesn't even label the spectral distribution of their LED lights, so before you spout off about how perfect they are, you should do more research about who knows what in the lighting industry. You can buy a far more superior light that's been scientifically tested to grow plants for literally 6.5x less than what you did on that ADA desk lamp. I wouldn't "mimic" an ADA LED plant light if you paid me.

Ok thanks for your input! Not sure why you seem so hurt about things, and I'm going to assume you didn't or can't really read because I never mentioned anything about them being perfect and honestly do not care about anything you mentioned. Pretty much just know, and care for that matter, that it is aesthetically pleasing to my eye and that when its over a plant, the plant tends to grow.

Since you say that they do not label spectral input and all this other stuff, I'm going to take that you simply don't like them or maybe they hurt you some kind of way but if you have nothing better to do I would appreciate you go and log your findings in the lighting section and not my thread. Thanks!

How is the overall flow with the spiral glass output you have? I'm considering running one (prob ADA knock off) on another tank with a much higher output canister than what should go on the tank. Figure it prevents enough direct pressure from stirring the tank up, but it's hard to tell from others that have posted videos on Youtube.

I like it so far, when using the older straight outflow it would dig up the soil on opposite side and I would have to use the eheim quick connects. It disperses the flow nicely and allows good water movement without making a void in substrate.

Exactly what I was hoping it would do. I was looking to put an Eheim 2215 on one of my tanks (Mr. Aqua 6.5) and I have a straight and a Lily Pipe style. Lily Pipe sadly was too out of sorts in the way the glass shape is (leans too far into tank) so I decided not to use it in the setup. Ordered an ADA knock off of the straight and I have a feeling as soon as I turn the filter on it's going to be like a firehose in a bucket...

Yep. Trust me, it will dig a hole unless you reduce it, and a lot.

Yeah...You did when you said "Others can only mimic and hope to make money off of people who don't want to spend what ADA costs". That statement effectively dismisses all other vendors except your beloved ADA. Sure all of their stuff looks like it came out of a museum, but that doesn't mean anything about how well the gear performs.

Chihiros, and other eBay knockoffs. Not a black led that looks nothing like the Aquasky. Viv, Cad, Aquavas. Just to name a few.

I am not sure why you even posted here if it was only to cut something down. I have looked at your thread and your tank and have nothing negative to say about it regardless of how I feel but you came here with no notion other than to start an argument.
