UPDATES!!! This thing has been up for over 10 months now. It's been through a lot of ups and downs. My fish are enormous now compared to how small they once were. I mostly have java fern in the tank. With the exception of some crypts, anubias, moss, and chain swords. Hard to see but there are over 100 java ferns. ooo and there are some dwarf sags in the back like 50 of them.

Here is a pic from August 2008

And here is a pic of a 10 gallon I started a while ago

That's how I do CO2 in mine (see pics). It's the same 12DX. 1/2" barb from HD, take the green pump hose with you since they have several 1/2" barbs in different sections and only one will fit and glue (black ABS one, IIRC it's in sprinkler system section). Transparent acryllic thingie from pet store. Drill a hole and assemble two parts using Superglue or PVC glue. The CO2 line goes in the same hole as electrical cord of the pump. You will need to throw away black rubber thingie which plugs this hole.

You could cut that leaf off and pull the little one off to plant, the leaf is dying. I've let them fall off on there own and then plant them. You could even pull it off and leave the leaf alone.
