yes I guessed it was moss, but I would like to know the species name so I can buy some and grow it myself.

Do you have any close-up pictures of the moss?

It is probably a moss that he got from outside. Those seem to be popular in these super nano aquariums. I am not sure on how long they can grow under water though..

This aquarium already does not exist, I don't have close-up pictures fot this moss, sorry.
It(He,She) will try to do photos to him(her) when it(he,she) returns to have.
