I'm curious about your CO2 tank. What is that, an aluminum water bottle? How did you get the tube in it?

The pics look great! Did you end up adding any shrimp to it?

thanx guys, I will snap some photos in the next few days..
I moved the tank to my office and added a few shrimps around a month ago...I also stopped dosing fertilizers afterward, but unfortunately, many of the plants are now showing signs of nutrient deficiency, and many of the hairgrass at the back turned brown

No water change except for when I was moving the tank. There is an acrylic cover so pretty much no evaporation.

some updated photos
you can see the plants haven't been doing as well as they used to be, and some are growing all over the place which looks quite messy.

Biggest surprise is i found a nicely pergo cherry shrimps in there yesterday!! She has a nice full sack of eggs.
I found this quite amazing since there are only 2 shrimps in the tank (1 male , 1 female?), they were never fed anything to eat and I never did any water change.... yet it still manage to carry eggs. the shrimps seem to be doing better than my other filtered tank with regular water change...weird
