Just a note for those of you who weren't able to go:
Only a few people showed up for the Friday meeting. Claus Christensen was the featured speaker at the AGA meeting. I found it enormously fun to see his photos of Tropica's growing facilities and his recent collecting trips to Laos and Thailand.
The best part though was that he came over to where we were setting up one of Bailin's nano tanks for display & auction. A few of us were able to pick his brain mercilessly about everything plant-related for almost an hour.
It was a great meeting. I'd like to hear from those of you that were able to go on Saturday and Sunday. Also, kudo's to Bailin. He's auctioning off his nano for NEAPS. |
