Hi fellow NEAPsters,
It's been an awfully soggy, hot summer. I hope you all had fun keeping your tanks cool during the heat wave, and your fish and plants fed while you were away on vacation!
Looking ahead a few months, I'd like to announce that our reconvening meeting will be held on Saturday, September 16th. I thought I'd invite everyone to meet at my house on beautiful Middle Bolton Lake in Vernon, CT. As far as aquatic plants of the aquarium variety, I am down to one 72g tank, but you all are certainly welcome to check out my plantscape, complete with gregarious altums. As far as aquatic plants outside, I have a canoe and a kayak for anyone who wishes to explore the vast flora and fauna on the lake.
Perhaps a pot luck would be good, and I can throw some meat & veggies on the grill. Anyone who wishes to cool off in the lake- it's swimmable, so bring a swimsuit.
Please mark it on your calendar now, so that you can make it. Bring your extra plants, equipment, and questions. Hope to see you all!
