Exclamation About time to start meetings again!!

Hello All,

Well, the summer is finally drawing to a close soon and that means
our regularly schedule monthly meetings on the third Saturday of the
month will resume in September. For the upcoming year, we have a lot
of new changes planned for our club.

First and foremost, our website is now being hosted by another
company and should allow our website committee to gain better access
to make changes and update items better. We will also have a good
amount of space to add pictures, articles, etc, so expect me to be
soliciting you in the next couple of months for pictures, articles,
etc... We hope to have the website live by the October meeting after
we've had some time to check with people about suggestions on our
beta site.

Also for the fall, we'll be meeting at the Asnuntuck Community
College in Enfield, CT. This will be our regular meeting location,
aside from two yet to be determined meetings in the Boston area.
This new location will give us electronics capabilities for
presentatioin and videos, something we couldn't do in a fish store.
Also, it's also a great place for doing demo or holding a larger
meeting without space constraints.

Finally, we are planning a small convention, which we hope to have in
January. Rich Grenfell, could you please email me. I have a couple
of things I'd like to discuss with you.

Busy, its hay season afterall

Quite honestly I am excited that we will be starting the new year off so strong. A great new meeting place, several new members and the special guest speakers leave a lot to look forward to. The website will be a nice addition and now that we have developed a talented and experienced web-design team folks can look forward to a nice site. The new meeting location also mean more regularity in our meeting times, and obviously locations, allowing people to plan in advance.

We need a name for the Janurary extravegenza!

Hmmm. It sounds like you'll be having a great time. Has anyone been able to check on the tank at Neds? I was in there just before we moved and it looked GREAT. It has to be helping his plant sales.

Enjoy.
