Hey all, I have several announcements.
The Demo at Fish Frenzy was very good. Thank you to all who attended. Also, if you came, please chime in hear so we can get names, forum aliases and faces straight
Second, I apologize for any confusion the Yahoo email posts caused with regards to meeting dates, times and locations. We are trying to get rid of the yahoo list and stop the automatic even posting, but it has been difficult. for the future, please disregard anything from Yahoo regarding event dates and times. The website, Mission | New England Aquatic Plant Society
will always have the correct and most up to date information. We also have a newletter you can sign up for. It will be delivered in your email and we will send one out prior to meetings, as a reminder to dates, times, locations, sudden changes, etc.
On February 11th there will be the annual PVAS mage-auction at the Elks Club in Enfield. Ct. NEAPS will have lots of plants for sale as a fundraiser for the club. Its a big, all day event with tons of fish, shrimp, plants, equipment, etc. A great place to get a good deal and meet some new folks.
We have a big spring planned. The Feburary meeting will be another Demo, this time at Uncle Ned's Fish Factory in Millis, Ma. Check the website for dates and times. We will discuss and demonstrate a maintenance/re-scape for the tank we setup a year ago.
The 32nd annual NEC Convention will be March 16-18th. On Friday the NEC offers a free and open to the public location for an AGA meeting. Every year the AGA brings in a special speaker for this mini meeting. This years speaker is none other than well known aquascaper Jeff Senske. Not only will you get the oportunity to see him talk on Friday and Saturday, you'll also get to see an Aquascaping Demonstration on Saturday following his talk. That alone is worth the $41 for a weekend registration.. FOr more about this see our website. For more about the NEC in general, test.swf
Hope to see you all soon!
