Default Algae on dwarf baby tears?

Need help with algae on DBT. Too much light or something else? No CO2,55 gal tank 5 months old, DBT planted 2 months ago. Reduced light to 8 hours a day from 12 a few days ago. PH, nitrates etc all within normal range. Thanks for any help.

No Co2 is probably the problem.

Welcome to APC!

A cheap way to try CO2 to see what effect it has is: https://www.aquaticplantcentral.com/f...8-diy-co2.html I am still using this on my current 30 gallon, but it worked great on a 65 gallon tank also.
