Best way to split Co2 output?
I have a pressurized Co2 system on my 20g and would like to split the Co2 so I could add some to my 5g tank. would it be ok to just put a T after the bubble counter and split the lines? on the line going to the 5g tank i was thinking of putting an adjustable airline connector on it to adjust that bubble count. this way I can keep my 20g tank set at around 2bps and and just slow down the bps going to the 5g.

Any problems with this setup?

You might have troubles if the output of the CO2 is at different pressures (i.e. if the output of one is deeper in the tank then another, if you use different types of diffusers, etc.). You might find most of your CO2 tries to go into your 5g.
A seperate needle valve for each tank would make it easy to adjust tho.

Well on my 20g I use the AM1000 reactor and in the 5g i was planning on using a small glass diffuser. I think the co2 would have an easier time going into the reactor rather then the diffuser. I guess ill try it out and see what happens.

Have you thought about purchasing a gang valve - manifold to regulate CO2 into two separate tanks like this one:

Aquabuys in my experience always say they are backordered. If you call them or email them they usually have something in stock. also carries some with attached bubble counters for a little more money.

You can also tried to build one yourself.
