That is a beautiful aquascape! It's hard to believe it is only a 5 gallon tank. Did you do a dry start, or just plant it with water in the tank?

Thanks! Planted it with water. In fact, it went through a couple iterations and replantings in the first few weeks. See below.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...40ed4e6d72.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...4a60d575f5.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...152ea3bb62.jpg

Hi science

I would raise up your white sand at the back and add some tiny stone back there. That with create more depth for you. If you crush some small chunks up and scatter them down either side of your path it will really set it off..great job[emoji6]

I removed the large chunk of rock in the center of the sand canyon. Looks much better!

Do you mean raise it up against the flat stone where the yellow line is, or toward the narrow end of the canyon where the red arrow is pointing?https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...dcde7c57bf.jpg

Raise it up to the red arrow. Gives the illusion of depth and makes the path look like its going somewhere. Use smaller stones at the back to help the distance look. This is my little 50ltrhttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...a7563a570e.jpg

See how the use of small stones create distance and raising the path gives depth too. Hope these help my friend[emoji3]https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...8dba7db8ee.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...2019cc635e.jpg

Boring sand path is now a rather interesting (imho] rubble field.

Just a quick update. The shrimp have been reproducing rapidly. I have 3 geneerations of red fires now, and my first baby blues and naturals. Everything is recovering beautifully after the big trim a while back. Cheers!https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...04c146e968.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...3021cf45e3.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...67d7473adb.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...81baf45fdd.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...a9565e3e19.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...144bb864d3.jpg
